広報とよね新年号[PDF]を見ていたら、トピックスの中に、
昨年当初にサウジアラビアへ送る手続きを進めたワラ細工の記事が載っていました☆
無事に在サウジ日本大使館に届いて、イベントなどで展示されているそうです！
気になって、サウジの英字新聞を検索してみたところ…
ちゃんと、載ってるーーー！！

Many visitors — especially children — were attracted to the exhibitions of some traditional handicrafts from Toyone Village that has been a friendship partner of KSA since 2005 when EXPO 2005 was held in Aichi in Japan.
第7回リヤド国際児童日祭に在サウジ日本大使館が出展し、
オープニングの日本人学校の学生と先生による和太鼓の演奏を始め、
書道の展示などがあったそうですが、その中でも特に子どもたちに
好評を博していたのが、ワラ細工だったそうです！！
